Credits are consumed based on actual LLM token usage when the agent runs. Light tasks like simple Q&A cost 3–15 credits, while complex multi-step workflows cost 300–500 credits. The median task uses about 80–150 credits.
Do unused credits expire?
On a paid plan, monthly credits refresh on your billing date and expire at the end of each billing cycle. Free-plan credits are a one-time grant — they don't expire, but they don't refresh either. Top-up credits (purchased separately at 5,000 for $75) never expire.
What's included in managed setup?
Our team handles everything: identifying the right workflows for Ako, configuring the agent and system prompt, connecting your channels (Slack, Email, WhatsApp), creating custom skills for your processes, seeding the knowledge base, and a walkthrough call to get you started.
