Your AI employee,
a text away.
Ako joins WhatsApp as a teammate you can message anytime. Text it a task, and it does the work on its own cloud workspace, then replies with files, summaries, and updates right in the chat.
Ako's responses are AI-generated and may sometimes be inaccurate or incomplete. Review its outputs before acting on them or sharing them outside your team.
What it looks like on WhatsApp
Three ways teams put Ako to work, straight from the WhatsApp chat they already have open.
Direct chat
You
Pull last week's signups from HubSpot and text me the daily totals when you're done.
Ako
On it. I'll grab signups from Nov 24 to Dec 1 and reply with totals plus a breakdown by source.
Forwarded message
You
Forwarding a support ticket from Intercom. Can you summarise it and draft a reply I can send back?
Ako
Summary: customer was double-charged on their Nov renewal and wants a refund. Draft reply below, ready to send 👇
Voice note
You
🎤 Voice message: "Hey, build the weekly sales deck from Shopify and send it over."
Ako
Done. Sending weekly-sales-2026-W23.pptx now. Revenue is up 12% WoW, slide 4 has the breakdown.
How it works
Text Ako
Message Ako directly and describe the task in plain English, or send a voice note. No templates, no commands to memorise.
Ako does the work
Ako runs on its own cloud workspace. It pulls data from your connected tools, writes code, browses the web, and generates files, without leaving the conversation on WhatsApp.
Replies in the chat
Ako replies in the chat: summaries, files, charts, or follow-up questions. You review the output, ask for changes, or hand it off to a teammate, all without leaving WhatsApp.
What teams use Ako for on WhatsApp
Teams start by handing Ako a task and end up giving it a standing role. It works on its own, keeps you posted on WhatsApp, and checks in when it needs a decision. A few of the jobs teams give it:
Text Ako and get it done
Message Ako from your phone: pull a number, check an order, get a report as a file. The quickest way to put it to work, no laptop.
Send updates from the field
Forward a message, voice note, or photo from a site or factory and Ako structures it into your live dashboard, then flags anything off. No re-keying.
Get proactive reports and alerts
Ako sends the morning report and messages you the instant something slips, straight to your chat.
Give Ako a standing role
Make Ako your daily standup runner: it checks in with each person on WhatsApp for their update, pulls the blockers together, and messages you the ones that need a decision.
Getting access
Ako is currently early access. We onboard teams individually so each one starts off with Ako set up correctly for how they work. The full path from waitlist to working on WhatsApp:
Join the waitlist
Drop your work email at /waitlist. We're rolling out access in waves and will email you as soon as your team's spot is ready.
Get onboarded
Once you're in, our team walks you through setting up Ako for your team, typically within 2 business days of being granted access.
Connect WhatsApp
From Ako's settings, connect WhatsApp and link the number your team will message. Standard WhatsApp Business setup, with you approving access.
Save Ako's number
Save Ako as a contact and start a chat. Ako only responds to people on your team.
About Ako's AI responses
Ako is powered by large language models, and like all AI, it can sometimes get things wrong. Here's how we ask teams to work with it.
Review before acting
AI-generated responses may sometimes be inaccurate or incomplete. Treat Ako's output as a starting point. Review reports, drafts, and data summaries before sharing them or making decisions based on them.
You stay in control
Ako only acts on requests from people on your team. You can review what it's done at any time, ask for changes, or correct course mid-task.
Your data, your rules
WhatsApp messages Ako reads stay within your team's isolated workspace and are never used to train AI models. Disconnect the integration any time to revoke access.
